William Henry Timperley (1833-1909) was a member of the W.A. Police Force from 1856-1905. After serving in Toodyay, Bunbury, Champion Bay, the Vasse, and Perth, he became Superintendent of the Native Police at Rottnest in 1884. From 1890-1905 he was Resident Magistrate for Wellington, Blackwood and the Sussex District.
